THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT STUNK

Man, did the Gunslingers hitters ever have a rotten week, while the pitchers were merely not bad.  The Team OPS dropped from .917 to .783 (.656 for the week), and the OPSA fell from .818 to .736 (.648 for the week).  The spread is a little too close for my liking.

Only Miguel Cabrera and Adrian Gonzalez are what you might consider "hot".  David Wright is on a 120 walk pace, but he's not making a lot of contact.  The bullpen is in free-fall, with all three 2010 draftees plus Ramon S. Ramirez getting lit up every time out.  The starters are surprisingly OK, except for Jamie Moyer, who is on the fast train to being DFA'd right into retirement.  Kevin Millwood has had a surprisingly good start to the season, and Ben Sheets is not embarrassing himself too badly.  Brian Matusz has endured some bad managerial decisions, or his numbers would be even better.  As a team, we're giving up too many hits, but the SO, BB, and HR ratios are pretty good.

Aaron Hill should be back on Friday.  Other than that, we've been healthy (knock on Dave Tremblay's skull).
