Today marks 1080 days until the person in the White House leaves, or at least by current law is supposed to leave. The idiot could kick the bucket before then, or just not leave, but we’ll assume that won’t happen, because America deserves him to live and we still have to have at least a shred of hope that laws will be upheld. Well, that law anyway.
In order to further this oft-ignored blog, I’ll be commemorating the days until that day by looking up the number in Wikipedia and reporting the most interesting thing I find. I won’t do it every day. I’m not going insane, that I know of. But I will do it every few days, or when you least expect it.
So, today we learn about 1080p and 1080i, which are computer monitor and TV screen resolutions. The p stands for progressive scan, and the i stands for interlaced. No further explanation will be given. I don’t have all day here. 1920x1080 is considered “Full HD”, and there no other kind of HD, which makes the Full superfluous.
And that was the MOST interesting 1080 thing! Stay tuned for the next day I do. It’s sure to get less interesting, until we hit zero and then we’ll all be dancing in the streets.
