SMOAK ON THE BASEPATHS

Bobby Abreu is warming up.  He hit his fourth homer of the year and has the OPS up to .872.  Miguel Cabrera is just plain on fire, going deep off Neftali Feliz for his fifth home run of the season.  Justin Smoak doubled off Jeremy Bonderman for his first major league hit.  He also added his fifth walk in four games.

Jonathan Sanchez beat the Phillies by going the minimum five innings, and allowing five walks and three hits, but only one run.  This may be the year when Jonnie puts it all together.  He has Lincecum-like number so far, but things can change quickly with him, as many walks as he allows.

Nothing much of note happened in the minors.  Mike Trout hasn't played in a few days, but it just looks like he got a day off ahead of a scheduled day off.
